Nursery Available During Hope's Worship Services

Hope's Nursery Coordinator: Marcy Bard

Hope provides child care for children 4 years old and younger during all three worship services on Sunday. Our Nursery Director and other volunteers staff the nursery so your child will be well taken care of. Some highlights of the program include:

  • Marcy Bard, our Nursery Director is in attendance at all services, so your child will begin to feel comfortable with seeing the same face week after week.
  • The nursery is equipped with vibrating pagers, so parents in other parts of the building can be reached.
  • A large play area where toys and activities are safe (toys are cleaned and disinfected on a continual basis).
  • A quiet room for younger children who may need a nap or quiet time.
  • Parent volunteers who help staff the nursery.
  • All volunteers must take an Abuse Prevention Class before working in the nursery.
  • Security cameras record all activities for parents’ peace of mind..

During the school year at the 9:30 AM learning hour, children ages 3 and 4 are encouraged to attend Sunday school, but are always welcome in the nursery.  Nursery is also provided on Wednesday evenings during WOW from 6:00 – 8:00 PM while parents and other siblings may be in other activities.

Hope considers the nursery to be an important ministry to our members. The nursery is always in need of volunteers. If you are a parent, or your children are grown and you miss interaction with little ones, consider volunteering during a Sunday worship service. Please contact the church office or see Marcy in the nursery on Sunday morning.
