First Communion Classes First Communion Stepping Stone Classes are offered at Hope twice a year. The class prepares children to participlate in the Sacrament of
Holy Communion. Through the class, children and their families explore the history and significance of this important meal, learn the meaning of the sacraments and discuss the special nature of this gift from God. Our
congregation believes that young people are ready to receive communion when they can understand that Jesus' body and blood was given and shed for them, as well as appreceiating the special-ness of this meal that uses
ordinary bread and wine. Any parent that feels their child is ready to take communion, is welcome to take part in this class. Parents are required to attned this class with their child. If you have questions about the
