Holy Communion, also known as the Lord's Supper, is the center of a Lutheran service of worship. During it, we receive our Lord's body and blood along with the bread and
wine that we can see, feel, and taste. Holy Communion is one of two sacraments, or signs of God's love and grace.
We believe that God comes to us in Holy Communion. A person does not need to
be perfect or without sin to receive our Lord's body and blood, for it is understood that we are all imperfect and need God's love and forgiveness.
All baptized Christians are welcome to receive our Lord's body and blood. God is our Host
and God welcomes all people to come to the table and be refreshed and renewed.
