Throughout the year, Hope hosts a variety of special initiatives and projects related to service and outreach to our community. See below for current and upcoming outreach special events and how to get involved.

INTERFAITH SERVICE DAY
Heritage Park Clean Up
Saturday, May 18

Heritage Park, 24915 Farmington Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48336
Join us for a day of service cleaning up Heritage Park in Farmington Hills! The Farmington Area Interfaith Association, a network of community organizations and congregations, of which Hope is a part, is hosting this event as a chance to come together and serve our local community. This opportunity is open to all ages, and is a great way for families to serve together too! Please invite your friends and neighbors to come along as well. We will meet at Heritage Park starting at 9am and spend the morning joining with others in helping care for our environment and neighborhood. This is a great opportunity to get out in nature, serve in our community, and get to know others in the Farmington area, as we serve together and learn more about each other!

SERVICE PROJECT & SPECIAL OFFERING
As part of our Hope Summer Nights monthly food, fellowship, service, and worship, join us as we come together as a community to care for Lighthouse, an organization that provides food and housing assistance to those in need in Oakland County.
Lighthouse Service Project
As we uplift freedom and diversity June 12 at Hope Summer Nights, we also will take time to recognize and care for all in our community by providing support to Lighthouse. During mealtime from 6-7pm, we will assemble Welcome Bags, comprised of various personal and hygiene items, for Lighthouse to share with visitors and residents at their shelter.
Lighthouse Special Offering
In addition to assembling Welcome Bags, we will also collect a special offering for Lighthouse leading up to and at worship that evening, to answer Lighthouse’s “Summer Hunger” appeal for extra funding needed to help stock their food pantries, when children are out of school and families are in greater need of food. Donations to this special offering can be made through June 12 here. We will have a special blessing for the Welcome Bags and Special Offering to Lighthouse during worship on June 12.
